
Many of us use AI models in our browsers. The pros rely on their terminal though. Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and Codex are all worth exploring. OpenCode gives you an open source alternative to these. It works with Claude but can also be used with Google, OpenAI and local models. To use OpenCode, you are going to need WezTerm, Ghostty, Kitty, and other terminal emulators. You can install this with Node.js, Homebrew on macOS and Linux and Paru no Arch Linux. You can find the instructions here.
