Anthropic has finally announced that Fable 5 will be going away for Pro users. They will have to pay for usage credits. The great news is they will get a one-time $100 credit to continue doing serious work with it. The story is different for Max and Team Premium plans. Beginning today, they will be able to enjoy Fable 5 at 50% of limits.
Beginning July 20, Claude Fable 5 will be included in all Max and Team Premium plans, at 50% of limits.
Pro and Team Standard users will continue to have access to Fable via usage credits, and will receive a one-time $100 credit.

This could always change as Anthropic secures additional capacity but for now, Fable 5 will be available to Max users under their subscription at 50% of their limit. Other paid users get a generous amount of credit to keep going.
