Claude has already gotten a lot of coverage for its ultra smart models in the past. With things like OpenClaw, more people are signing up for pro and more expensive plans. Claude Sonnet 5 is just around the corner. There have already been leaks that suggest it will be released tomorrow. It is expected to be 50% cheaper Claude Opus 4.5. It has a 1M token context window but runs faster. It is trained on Google TPUs.

As the leaks support, this model can create specialized sub agents that work in parallel from the terminal. It has a dev team mode, so agents can run autonomously in the background as they build full features. It allegedly surpasses 80.9% on SWE-Bench, so it is better than other coding models. These are just rumors, so they should be taken with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, they have a lot of developers and AI enthusiasts excited.
