In case you missed it, Anthropic and other companies are adding invisible watermarks in their generated text everywhere models are offered. It is part of the text and goes with it when it is copied and pasted. It can even persist through editing. We already know this was done with Anthropic models launched after August 2, 2026. The good news? Someone has already built a watermark remover. It looks for invisible unicode, exotic spaces and tag characters. It also looks for statistical text watermarks and other ways these documents are watermarked.
