Cursor 1.0 is finally here. Many people’s favorite AI coding IDE now comes with BugBot that helps you with code reviews. It can review your pull requests and catch potential issues. It leaves a comment on them in your GitHub. You will be able to fix everything in Cursor. Cursor 1.0 has Memories, so it can remember facts from conversations.
Cursor 1.0 also has expanded Background Agent access to all users. You can click on the cloud icon in the chat or cmd/ctrl+E to get started. Cursor can also make changes in your Jupyter Notebooks. What’s neat is you can now set up MCP servers in Cursor with one click. As the update post suggests, Max Mode is now available for all top models in Cursor.
