In the future, most people will just use AI to edit their videos. With DaVinci Resolve 21.1, it is now possible to rely on GPT 6 Astra to edit your videos. You can use AI to adjust focus, change age of an actor, remove blemishes, and reshape a face. AI can also remove common motion blur artifacts. DaVinci Resolve 21.1 supports integration with Claude, Claude Code, and GPT Codex, so you can use AI to adjust settings.
This version also has 100 new tools that give you more control for faster editing. As explained on the official site, users can now
ask their AI assistant to create highlight edits from long form video, remove unwanted clips and render deliverables, so they can spend more time being creative rather than getting bogged down in repetitive tasks.
