R1-0528 matches Gemini 2.5 Pro in coding and is only behind o4-mini and o3. As Artificial Analysis suggests, the gap between open and closed models is very small nowadays. DeepSeek-R1-0528 has less hallucinations. It supports JSON output & function calling.
