Gemma 4 has excited many AI fans as it can run on consumer level hardware. Plenty of services are offering support for it. You can even try using it with things like OpenClaw. Ollama already offers better Gemma 4 tool calling. To use this, you simply can run ollama run gemma4:31b-cloud

To use this with OpenClaw, you can use the following: ollama launch openclaw –model gemma4:31b-cloud. It is also possible to use this model with Claude Code.
