OpenAI finally introduces its AgentKit and ChatKit yesterday. It also announced apps which you will be able to use directly in ChatGPT. You can build them with the Apps SDK. Canva, Coursera, Figma, Expedia, Spotify and Zillow are already available to use. With the Apps SDK, you will be able to use MCPs to start building.
With AgentKit, you get a visual canvas to create multi-agent workflows. You will be able to build agents that can search, access files, and a lot more. It combines with ChatKit to create chat-based agents.
OpenAI also announces Sora 2 and Sora 2 Pro in the API. Sora 2 Pro supports 1792 x 1024p videos but you will have to spend $6 for a 12s video at this time. Higgsfield and many others are offering limited time deals on Sora though.
OpenAI also announced Slack integration and the Codex SDK, so you can use the agent that powers the Codex CLI into your own workflows. GPT-5 Pro is now available in the API, with an input and output cost of $15 and $120.
