Those of you who have used Fable or Astra know they are token hungry. They do a great job but you will go through your credits and budgets pretty quickly. A lot of these companies are working on more efficient models. Take GPT 6.1 Sol for instance: it is an affordable model that has an input cost of $0.1 per million tokens, which is 50% less than GPT-6. It also offers better coding and computer use performance, getting close to GPT-6 Astra.
GPT-6.1 Sol makes frontier intelligence more affordable, so you can use it for more of the work that matters and developers can build and run applications at scale.

As far as alignment, it is more in line with GPT-6 Astra. Most people will want to use this to get more coding done without breaking the bank.
