One of the least known ChatGPT features is the Record mode. It is a nifty feature that can transcribe and summarize audio recordings. These summaries are saved as canvases in your chat history. They can be turned into project plans and emails. This feature is available for macOS computers. You can click the Record button at the bottom of any chat to get started.

Record mode is able to transcribe from multiple speakers. If you want ChatGPT to reference your canvases and transcripts from your past recordings, you should turn on “Reference record history.”
