Google is constantly releasing new AI tools for coders and creative professionals these days. It is sometimes hard to keep up with everything the company is working on. Stitch is a new tool that turns your ideas into UI designs. You will just have to select your platform (mobile or web), write your prompt, and the rest is easy.
What’s neat is after you have generated a design, you can copy it to use on Figma. You can also see the code. Here is a sample prompt you can use to get started:
I’m working on a mobile app for my chess club. I’d like the application to have: A calendar view showing our next scheduled match/tournament A creation page to add new chess events (with time controls, variants, and player invites) A browse page to explore chess openings, endgame strategies, and famous historical games A history page with every game we’ve played – showing date, players, time control, winner, and the host who organized An elo leaderboard tracking everyone’s wins, losses, and current rating Key chess-specific details included: Time controls (Bullet/Blitz/Rapid/Classical) Variants (Standard/Chess960/Bughouse) PGN game storage for match history Elo rating system instead of simple win counts
