Tesla is not the only company working on a smart AI humanoid robot. The XPENG Iron has more than 60 joints and 200 degrees of freedom. It stands 5-foot-10-inch tall, weighing 70kg. It has human-like dexterous hands to get tasks done. This robot has 15-degree of freedom hands and supports tactile sensing:
Known for following in Tesla’s footsteps, XPENG is doing so quite literally with humanoid robots.
Today, XPENG announced Iron, a 5-foot-10-inch robot that weighs 153 lb (70 kg) and has human-like dexterous hands.
